   Look. This problem is decades-old. And it's ridiculous.
   
   When your mail client fails to talk to the server because it simply fails to connect, don't fucking shove a password dialog into my face. My password is not the problem. Fix your abstractions or whatever is causing this shit.

      @clacke You could file a bug, assign it to yourself and fix that oversight... or have it rejected, fork it, do the changes and build it yourself.
      
      That's what I'd like to do in the future.

            @clacke I'm using Thunderbird because of Lightning Calendar. I'd be using Claws Mail if it weren't for that.
