    SEPARATIST/SOVEREIGNITY MOVEMENTS ARE NOT REVOLUTIONS:
"There is a difference between national liberation struggles against colonialism and imperialism and separatist movements to gain independence from a nation state. It is the difference between form and substance. Separatist movements, while appearing similar to national liberation movements, are utilized by US imperialism to fragment nation states so that they can be more easily digested. National liberation movements unify states so they can better withstand being gobbled up. Many well-intentioned people cannot see the difference between them and confound the two. But the distinction is essential for anti-imperialists to understand so as not to be taken in by Western propaganda." ~ Dennis Etler
