iona 🐝Fed up of my local newspaper. All it does is print lurid stories of poverty and misery as seen through the lens of the police press office which feeds them most of their 'news'.
What happened to local journalism? Why has holding power to account been replaced with "'You made me hit a police officer!' man shouted at his pregnant wife after punching a constable" and "Woman smashed up mum's gold Samsung phone with hammer and said: 'I'm not bloody sorry'"?
