Just shutdown my old home server equipment. I had two big Dell Xeon based workstations from around 2010 that I was using, one as a virtualization host, the other as a NAS (used to be both as virtualization hosts, until my previous old computer I was using as a NAS kicked the bucket and I migrated it to one one of the hosts instead).
Now I migrated the host to a refurbished Lenovo M73 Tiny, which has about the same level of performance as what it's replacing, and the NAS to a small Synology (which was quite the ordeal to get running). It's a slight downgrade for the NAS performance wise, but still good enough to stream movies.
And in exchange, instead of running two gigantic, noisy, hot, power hungry workstations, I have two tiny, quiet and much less thirsty boxes that I will be able to more easily find a place for in my new apartment.
