Today, we dug a hole next to the fence, where my daughter-in-law is going to plant one of the potted plants she bought. The hole is not finished, and a companion hole will follow.
-
The first hole is finished. I removed a fist sized rock. The second hole is almost finished. I removed a similar sized rock from that hole 🕳 . We will return to it after naptime.
-
Second hole 🕳 is finished. Plants 🪴 are in the ground. Boys are checked for ticks, fed, and asleep.
3.5 years old #GS3 hardly leaves my side. His favorite words seem to be “Grandpa, look what I found”. He’s probably introduced me to every flower 🌸 and insect 🐞 in the yard.
1.5 years old #GS4 wants to spend a few minutes at a time, then go get into something, then come back. That kid has a “light up the world “ smile 😃 and he loves to show it. But he’s also adamant that he should be allowed to throw rocks toward the window, touch the stove / oven, sprinkle the dog 🐕 with milk, go with Daddy to work. He makes sure his displeasure is heard.
