I stopped using #AsciiDoc and went back to using Markdown when I realized how atrocious the HTML from asciidoc and asciidoctor looked.
But then I learned that converting AsciiDoc to DocBook and then using Pandoc to generate the HTML created better HTML.
I've forgotten why I still went with Markdown. Because I occassionally needed inline HTML? Or did Pandoc HTML output still have issues? Or was it because copying and pasting HTML from hashify.me/ was more convenient than running a CLI pipeline?
Now that #Pandoc 3.0 is out with tons of updates to every rendering engine I'll look into AsciiDoc again. In theory I prefer it to Markdown because it's a real, complete and unified language.
