   @codeawayhaley In the past when I was doing computer vision stuff I sometimes tried to reproduce results from papers. I usually found significant problems such that it looked as if the reported results were cherry picked.

      'Research papers' from 'reputed journals' are comprised of mostly junk. Cherry picked results, fabricated results or improper description due to page limits. I've seen people in all of the three cases.
