Parcelling up orders today has got me thinking about sustainable packaging.
Packaging up a little magnetic mount car antenna: - the plastic bag it comes in from the supplier - bubble wrap to protect it (plastic) - a plastic mailing bag (single use)
Surely there is a better way? Does anyone know of any suppliers of sustainable, recyclable protective packaging?
@vfrmedia The Chinese are amazing with customer service online - I often get really quick responses, helpful emails and so on. Some UK companies could learn a thing or two from them.
"When the BBC local radio station we all pay for targets all of us living in the area, and doesn't hyper-focus on the 45+ white middle class audience." So, never.

Today's local radio phone-in topic: "When should you kick your freeloading children out of your house?"
Half tempted to phone in and suggest "when housing is treated as a human right and not as a money-making asset for wealthy baby boomers", or "when capitalism is overthrown".
I haven't seen this linked anywhere and it might be interesting for #socialcoop people as it includes a detailed discussion of Labour's proposals for increasing co-op participation in the British economy should they come to power.
I have set up a small Mastodon instance for radio amateurs, radio clubs/organisations, DXers, SWLs and anyone else interested in any aspect of radio communications, technology or even radio listening.
