@ghost_bird To be fair, whenever I go anywhere else I'm always shocked - shocked! - that the fish and chips cost more than £3.80. I was back home in Cheshire the other week and paid _£7_!

@ghost_bird Oh, we have potato scallops in the fish and chip shops here (West Yorks), but I've never heard of anyone having one in a teacake.

What we *do* have that other areas seem to omit are bits - little pieces of spare batter out of the fryer that they sprinkle on your chips. Ask for bits even 15 miles from here and they will look at you gone out.

I love the sat nav routing on #OsmAnd. Every time I use it, it takes me a strange route and I find places I never knew existed. Last time, I found a really nice little Asian sweet shop and got some of the best baklava I've ever had.

I'm not sure if it's intentional, but if it is, well played OsmAnd devs.

@davidbenque It's worse if you're an RBS customer in England, because you get constant letters about their various changes. First it's being sold to Santander, then it's not, then it's changing its name to Williams and Glyn, then it's not...

I had one year where I got five new cards because of various abortive changes they were making. Once, I only knew they'd changed something when my card didn't work.
