    Why do rich people despise the poor and call them lazy? Its probably due to "projection" - wherein a person ashamed of his behaviour projects it onto others. In this case the rich, probably aware of the privileged life they live being tended to servants, are probably projecting that onto others.

    Although I know vaguely that combining red, green and blue lights results in white lights, it still mind blowing to see that in action. It is also very counter intuitive because as a kid, I mixed yellow and blue color pigments to get green(subtrative colors). Here, mixing red light and green light gets yellow!(additive colors)

    If mix red, green and blue pigments, you will get black in the end. But if you mix R,G,B *lights*, you will get white light.

    I came across this when I was looking for ways to produce warm white/yellowish LED light that does not have even a tiny bit of blue spectrum that normal warm white LED lights have.

    My lack of interest in a person's family background reached a peak this week - when I found out that a friend of mine is actually a related to me. I had know this person from primary school (though lost in touch for 17 years and got reacquainted).

    Whenever I ask about someone's background, I ask only because I fell obliged to ask, not because I'm really interested.
