Ji FuNORFOLK, Va.—The families of two students at a Virginia elementary school where a 6-year-old shot and wounded his teacher have filed notices of potential legal action against the school system over trauma they say the shooting inflicted on their children. The parents of a first-grader said their daughter was in the classroom when the shooting occurred and “suffered emotional harm as a result.” The parents also alleged that school officials failed to protect their daughter throughout the school year from bullying, harassment, and assault. A letter from the other child’s family cites “injuries sustained during a school shooting on January 6, 2023.” Their attorney did not elaborate further, although authorities have said that no children were physically harmed during the incident....

Ji Fu#healthCare "The most fundamental property right is an individual’s right to own and control their own body. All individuals have the right to determine their own health care needs and treatment. Exercise of this right does not remove the moral obligations not to violate the rights of others. We recognize the state, when it exists, has a duty to protect the rights of others, particularly those in society who are the most vulnerable, including the very old, the very young, and the mentally handicapped. The state, where it exists, does have a duty to protect the life of all individuals, and should prosecute those who utilize force or fraud to end life." #libertarian party of #Michgianmichiganlp.org/platform/

Ji FuIt's a great idea. It should happen. But in order ofr it to be possible the workers will have needed to have well established "shop floor" committees that can take over and run democratically, otherwise all that is going to happen is the board of directors will replace him with another worthless parasite.

Silicon Valley needs to stop laying off workers and start firing CEOs
Any executive who participates in decision-making that leads to hundreds or thousands of people losing their jobs should be the one leading them out the door. Pichai and other tech CEOs shouldn't be making $280 million a year or even $1 million a year — they should be fired for poorly managing some of the largest companies in the world.
Previously I had a few different options to choose, I don't recall the names off hand, but for most I had set FREQUENTLY, but occassionally when I had feeds that were filling up my timeline I would just change that setting to something else (DAILY?) and that problem was solved, I'd see some of their posts but it didn't fill up everything everytime I logged on. Now I'm having that problem again.
