@willtochaos @rice @shmibs "The best way to figure out whether someone is manipulating you or helping you is to ask yourself: Do they want something from me? People can only manipulate you if you have something they want. Special educators sometimes neglect the needs of high-functioning autism in order to retain disability funds." Interesting take on this too.
-
@rice Oh yeah, you mentioned having a chocolate craving, right? In the video I sent, it shows you how to make chocolate orange porridge. You might like that. :')
-
@shmibs @willtochaos @rice Also, I've found that sometimes people are self-taught. They've never been taught how to do a skill, and so they don't know how to go about teaching someone else. They expect it will come naturally or by choice.
-
@shmibs @willtochaos @rice I could definitely do with learning to tell when someone is taking advantage of me. It's hard to know when to draw the line, especially when it comes to wanting to give people the benefit of the doubt or if you feel like it is your fault.
-
@rice It can be difficult to understand yourself... especially if you've never been taught like a lot of people in our generation!
-
@rice Haha. I'll send you the video that gave me the idea. :')
-
I should make overnight oats for Bricky. He can eat it as second-breakfast. I'm sure he'll like it! Huehue.
-
@rice This is assuming other people even understand their own intentions! xD
-
@thatbrickster I don't think I want to know what perverted thoughts you are applying to me here.
-
@guizzy I think I woke up too late for that part!
-
>How to make porridge.
Oof... I need some tips for this. I've taken a liking to this meal.
-
@thatbrickster Wait... I'm fake and gay? This you have to explain.
-
Adding grated carrots into a chilli... hmm!
-
@nik Haha. How passionate about it is he?
-
@thatbrickster Haha. I was actually thinking about a guy who picked out the cheapest option after running calculations in his head or maybe from times before, where he would know the price by weight of things. Walked his GF through it. :')
-
@nik How good is your BF at budgeting at the store? :o
-
@thatbrickster Better brush up on your maths skills for budgeting then! You'll impress your GF. ;)
Also, the BF mentioned is actually a guy named Alex who is someone else's BF. He has that geeky hawtness about him though.
-
Get yourself a BF who can quickly run maths calculations at the store to ensure your shopping is in budget and you get more for your money. :^)
-
@phildobangnz Yeah. Perhaps we don't want those particular genes! :')
-
Apparently, if you go on a plant-based diet you can lose about 25lb in 6 months according to a study. Oof. I wonder what these people were actually eating.
