@harmlessgryphon Aha. Yet it doesn't seem all that better to me.
-
A lot of stories seem to have the humans as the ones with the power that rule over fantasy kingdoms. I think I'd like to see something different.
-
Really looking forward to sorting a problem I've been getting recently in two weeks time. u_u
-
I wish the UK never joined the EU, it's becoming harder for people to imagine where we could be right now if it weren't for them. Perhaps even our own politicians have become lazy due to it.
-
Honestly, considering that it usually takes many years to get a trade deal from the EU and the opinions of our own politicians, I am not surprised. We probably should have gone with no deal almost to begin with rather than wasting all this time on a shit deal. It's very hard for us to be anything but a shrivelled nation when our politicians sell us out to the EU. It frustrates me. Maybe they aren't fit for their position. What happened to our defiant position when it comes to rulers?

@epsiloco Thanks! Hope your night went well... full of interesting dreams!
-
@epsiloco I agree. Maybe even picking off where you last remember an interesting dream too!
I do like having it on this side.
-
Goodnight, fedi! Take care and sleep well!

I think that if I were really obese then I would be a lot more concerned with quickly losing the weight while finding a way to make it sustainable. But I'm fortunate that isn't my case and it sucks when that is the case for people.
-
Thinking about it, I've realised that I don't really want to lose the weight really quickly. I want to find a lifestyle that I will enjoy that will make it sustainable. If it takes me a bit longer, then I can wait. It has to be something I enjoy for it to stick, I think.
-
@epsiloco Please do! It's fun to hear about peoples dreams! :) Hopefully there will be group features soon with pleroma so that more people can join in!
-
In the span of a year, I lost 1 stone in fat. I really hope that I can lose another stone in fat this year through small tweaks to my diet and lifestyle.
-
@epsiloco Do eeet! :)
If it were possible for you to join a group, I would have also recommended the dream group I am a part of on here. (And probably the only one using now. Lol.) In any case, all the best in whatever you decide. Don't beat yourself up if you don't always write things out. It's good to just get things down that you really want/need to. Make it fun for yourself!
-
@epsiloco I have this problem too. I'm not great at writing things down in time. I just write when the need takes me, and usually forget about it in other times until I come back to it. Mostly in need or to reflect on how I am. :') So don't pressure yourself with it! Write when you feel like it, or when you need to. Or just when you want to keep something on your mind a bit longer so you can go back to it by re-reading it.
-
@phildobangnz Communication is not my strong point in this case. I wouldn't exactly say it is something that I like doing. I'm not great socially, and with my feelings even less. But there reaches a point where it becomes necessary. Oh, I was just thinking about small things tbh. Like if I'm going to bed. Even now, losing weight which I spoke about last night keeps playing on my mind after talking about it. Even that is a good sign.
I suspect that it helps more that people are listening, and become a sound board for you to come up with your own solutions after hearing out their suggestions. At least, I hope that I've been this kind of influence for people. Of course, it will vary between people and their capacity and willingness to help and support you. I understand you don't have people in your everyday life to do this offline.
This is why I talk to other people. To try and get a sense of what is a good benchmark to measure things by. It can be hard to come up with that sort of thing on your own. Lots of small things over time add up. Don't count yourself out yet! It's the small changes that have helped me.
-
@epsiloco I do a lot of reflection too but since things get on top of me, it helps to write/type them somewhere as a reminder to look back on if I face something similar. Notice patterns that way.

@rice >///<
-
@rice Definitely. That would be great! I would have liked to support you better as a friend irl. It sounds like you need a friend like that.
-
@rice Haha... oh gosh. That would be great because I'll need somebody to talk to about this stuff! But I don't think I'll be leaving the UK. :')
-
I wish I was rice's irl buddie. But shhh... don't say anything.
