    @mangeurdenuage Fair enough! We all have our own preferences. I guess I don't really see her as being too muscular or too skinny here. :')

    @moonman @augustus Yeah... but that isn't the same as happiness or not being depressed. It never crossed the baseline for me. So I felt a little less shit when I did the basic things, but still felt shit.

    @moonman @augustus I think a lot of my problem is general tolerance or resilience to activities. Plus having clinical depression doesn't help. What they recommend which is like 30 minutes of physical activity that gets your heart rate up... I don't really see how this will lift me from depression. Especially if I have a stressful thing like a job as well. Don't get me wrong, I did feel better compared to being sedentary but still stressed out and depressed.

    @augustus It's just a bizarre thing that people think will elevate the mood and lift one out of depression/low mood. If anything, it takes from my depleting reserves of energy. I also end up feeling more hungry. I can be stressed out too. It's hard for me to recall how I feel after a workout too. Sometimes it is nice to feel exhausted from that but yeah.

    "Learning to be more mindful and aware does wonders for our well-being, whether it's on our walk to work-" I'm gonna stop you right there. Most places that we walk through to work aren't going to lift the spirit... there is a reason that we zone out in places like big cities. It's just not beautiful to look at! We don't build and maintain for beauty. It's all about function and brutalism. If you are lucky, you will pass by a beautiful historical building or through a park, or somewhere full of nature... but that is probably not most people. No wonder people are stuck with phones to their face or trying to be somewhere not in the present moment. It's just more attractive compared to around them.

    Don't mind me, I'm just feeling grouchy right now. Especially because they always recommend shit like giving to others and connecting with people. Then exercising. But none of these people think about how stressful and taxing these activities can be. Far from lifting my depression... I'm still in it.

    Yes... my mood is completely improved the moment that I'm active every day! It just lifts me out of depression! It's a miracle! u_u

    @harmlessgryphon Yeah... it's just hard to know how much fat I should be adding. As I said, I like to eat quite a bit... but I can't have anything that is going to eat into the calories too much.

    @nik Definitely! I really don't think the 3 meals a day was designed with tall people in mind but the average person. :') Please keep me posted on your progress.

    Not being funny guys, but I do feel like I probably need to be on a vegan diet and cut out the processed crap designed to imitate meat too. Just so I can still eat a lot but not gain the weight since meat and dairy are so calorie-dense I think the term is. Filled with fat.

    @nik You are definitely tall then! You need to eat more and regularly to maintain that I think. I hope you find a way to balance things! :)

    Being at 50kg sounds like being underweight to a lot of people... but that is just the height advantage. If I'm at 60kg, then I am overweight. ;-;

    @nik Definitely! Rather than 3 large meals plus snacking... try to split those meals up into two. You probably won't feel so sick then if you give it time to settle. Plus, ideally... lighter snacking towards the late evening and bigger meals throughout the day so you can use the energy from it. Although I suppose that isn't too much of an issue for you right now. :')
