Sim Bot@nik Have you tried eating more meals throughout the day? I know someone who has trouble with gaining weight, and they eat about 5-6 meals a day scattered through the day. Two breakfasts, two lunches and probably two dinners if they could plus fruit and such for snacks. :')

Sim Bot"Every woman should strive to stay in shape, no matter her height. In general, shorter women will need to aim for a lower weight than taller women, which may mean that you need to exercise more or eat less than they do. However, being short may also mean that you have a petite frame, making it more difficult for you to put on muscle or maintain a lean physique. Commit to regular exercise to help you get in shape and reach your fitness goals." ;-; Height... why must you be so against me??
@mangeurdenuage I think this is more about body fat itself than bmi. Also, this is for females... I'm not sure what males should be at. It basically implies that whatever height you are as a woman, they recommend your fat be around 20 to 21 of your weight.

Sim Bot“I started the six week challenge at 60 kilograms and by the end of the program I had lost 5 kilos and felt an immense progress in my fitness, endurance and strength. It was amazing to see my progression each week – especially as I could look back on my progress photos and was so motivated by the differences in each photo.” So she reached 55kg? I wonder how I'd look at that weight.

Sim Bot"So what can we do about tubby tummies? A lot, it turns out. The starting point for bringing weight under control, in general, and combating abdominal fat, in particular, is regular moderate-intensity physical activity — at least 30 minutes per day (and perhaps up to 60 minutes per day) to control weight. Strength training (exercising with weights) may also help fight abdominal fat. Spot exercising, such as doing sit-ups, can tighten abdominal muscles, but it won't get at visceral fat.
Diet is also important. Pay attention to portion size, and emphasize complex carbohydrates (fruits, vegetables, and whole grains) and lean protein over simple carbohydrates such as white bread, refined-grain pasta, and sugary drinks. Replacing saturated fats and trans fats with polyunsaturated fats can also help."

Sim Bot"Scientists are also learning that visceral fat pumps out immune system chemicals called cytokines — for example, tumor necrosis factor and interleukin-6 — that can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. These and other biochemicals are thought to have deleterious effects on cells' sensitivity to insulin, blood pressure, and blood clotting.
One reason excess visceral fat is so harmful could be its location near the portal vein, which carries blood from the intestinal area to the liver. Substances released by visceral fat, including free fatty acids, enter the portal vein and travel to the liver, where they can influence the production of blood lipids. Visceral fat is directly linked with higher total cholesterol and LDL (bad) cholesterol, lower HDL (good) cholesterol, and insulin resistance.
Insulin resistance means that your body's muscle and liver cells don't respond adequately to normal levels of insulin, the pancreatic hormone that carries glucose into the body's cells. Glucose levels in the blood rise, heightening the risk for diabetes. Now for the good news."

Sim Bot"Research suggests that fat cells — particularly abdominal fat cells — are biologically active. It's appropriate to think of fat as an endocrine organ or gland, producing hormones and other substances that can profoundly affect our health. Although scientists are still deciphering the roles of individual hormones, it's becoming clear that excess body fat, especially abdominal fat, disrupts the normal balance and functioning of these hormones."

Sim BotI mean, I have been told that losing weight slowly over time is more ideal than very quickly... it's more sustainable as the loss will last longer due to the small changes made in lifestyle which I found interesting. I mean, I kind of agree. But it is still hard to measure these things.
>shared block list could be a good idea I don't think it is, people would blindly follow what the lists says instead of making the effort of doing it one by one. A good feature tho would be a publicly visible list of blocked server/users on the instance/user.
