@phildobangnz @epsiloco Surprisingly, I'm used to eating the same cereal each day so it just becomes routine until I want to switch things up. In that case, I would just add different dried things into it! :')
-
@epsiloco Ooo... I know that I've had oats, and mixing fried fruit, seeds and cinnamon into it. Once I've established this, I might try to add variety every now and then to it by adding other types. I have to be careful with nuts as I'm not good at consuming those... I wish that weren't the case but those are good for snacks!
-
@phildobangnz I'm not sure what you are asking?
-
I think I looked at my stomach in the mirror today, and I was almost okay with it... but then decided I still needed to lose weight there. Which is true since it isn't thin.

"Carrying your fat around your middle, as opposed to your hips and thighs, can lead to higher cholesterol and triglycerides. It can cause fat to build up in your organs – especially your liver and pancreas. This stops them from working properly, leading to liver disease and diabetes.
It’s possible to be quite slim and have a healthy BMI but have too much fat around your middle. That’s why it’s good to find out your BMI and your waste measurement." Yelp.

@rice Yes! I've needed a bowl like it rather than wasting materials and using normal bowls. :')
-
I really want to find new ways to include seeds, spices and fruits into my diet. This is what I have done with my breakfast! Plus I've now been getting activity in prior to it.

"If your doctor has advised you to lose weight, then it can help to know that even a little weight loss makes a big difference to your health. Losing just 10% of your body weight will help lower your cholesterol and triglyceride levels, your blood pressure, your risk of diabetes and your risk of some types of cancer. It also takes the stress off your joints, making it easier to move about."
-
Taking a leaf out of rice's book, I decided to pick up a plastic container to have leftovers in. It can be heated up in the microwave as well and has a lid with a steam hole in it!

@bob @dtluna Makes sense. I'm certainly not opposed to things like the fediverse.
Yeah. The moderates are more likely to water down whatever is proposed by the radical types. Which can be a good thing or a bad thing.
-
@xj9 @lanodan @dtluna It does seem like they will adapt though, but yeah... that is a better form of revolution while it lasts.
-
@wowaname I would agree that government today has expanded to the point it has become overbearing. This is one of the parts I don't like... it would be nice to break it down like they have done when corporations become too big. :')
-
I still don't think anarchism works because it is fighting against human nature. Leadership is so natural, and people will gravitate to those they think will be able to support them or who can beat the other guys when competing for the same resources/land.
-
@lanodan @dtluna I guess my other point is that if you radicalise the normies then they may very well act against you. Who says they would support your cause? Right now, normies would likely go with whatever but radicalise them and that will change. If they are status quo guardians then they will radicalise in that way. You don't want to activate that force unless you are the status quo.
But I digress... I wouldn't necessarily call them the moderates that I am thinking about. The moderates are somewhere in the middle that seems more reasonable than the radicals that are more extreme in their political views. The moderates are great because they reign that in. Whatever structure you have in place. You want them in because they aren't just going to support surrendering but they also aren't going to jump to a war straight away. They will try to find a middle ground if allowed to do their thing. You need that voice of reason.
-
Time to head out... talk later, fedi.
-
@dtluna I don't think you want to radicalise them. Normies aren't the enemy and will likely go along with whoever is in power. It means less enemies to face.
-
@dtluna I guess it depends on what system you want. But people listen to them more because they sound reasonable. It's harder to support a radical.
-
@dtluna What does building new structures look like in this context? I was thinking more about marching in and overthrowing the established government or whoever is in power. You need to win the moderates over, not by radicalising them. But by letting them do their job as a moderate.
-
@dtluna I don't. We need both. Who will build things up after a revolution? The radicals start revolutions, and the moderates fix the damage left in its wake. Moderates temper things.
-
@dtluna I don't think you really want the moderates to be silenced.
