Is there anyone who isn't a native #English speaker who has experience with #CodeOfConduct for tech/open source/open data communities? Someone is claiming that only English speaking countries care about this... (experience/knowledge of sexism, racism & LGBTQ issues a plus)
I suspect I'm firmly in the minority here, but I think we should bring back the diaeresis in the #english#language to accentuate syllable breaks. For words like coöperate, preëminence, and the like. It looks far more distinguished IMO. I'm all for distinguished.
I am planning to graduate in the fall of 2018 after completing my student teaching semester. I will be licensed to teach English for grades 5-12 once I complete the program I am in. I am a #nontrad student. I am married and have 3 kids.
I have a #English - #Sinhala#glossary of technical terms for humanities (mostly art, theatre, philosophy and literature) compiled using LibreOffice spreadsheets. What is the best way to publish them online as a searchable website? Is there a particular CMS you would recommend?
Eine kleine Bitte: schreibt mal, was euch als Erstes bei diesem Bild in den Sinn kommt. Und wenn es nur 1 oder 2 Worte sind. Darf aber auch gerne mehr sein. ;) #english Maybe you can do my a little favor and tell me what comes first in your mind, when you see this picture? Maybe just a word or two. Or more if you like ;)
