    I would like to give a big shout out to @Tobias for making the Language Filter plugin based off the PEAR library Text_LanguageDetect https://pear.php.net/package/Text_LanguageDetect.

    After fiddling with the settings, I now have a timeline more readable than ever, especially since most #Friendica maintainers are mainly speaking and writing in german while I don't.

    Here are my winning settings:
    • Minimum confidence in language detection: 23
    • Minimum length of message body: 100

    I'm not sure how you would know if your timeline is "too white" ... other than a few people who talk about their ancestry or use (what we assume is) their facial image as their avatar, a person using #GNU_Social / #Friendica / #Mastodon / #Red_Matrix / #Hubzilla could be of any ethnic group, from any location around the world.

    That's actually one of the best things about online communications. I may talk with you for years before I realize you are a member of $RACE and $NATIONALITY or that you live in $COUNTRY. We get the opportunity to build relationships without all that garbage in the way.

    Wordpress installed

    I installed #wordpress again to my server. I try now to start posting some posts there. URL for the blog is https://blog.raitisoja.com I also activated the wordpress post plugin to #friendica so I can also make posts from the friendica timeline.

    This is also test that the export plugin works properly.
