Hmm, can we have cw's or so for people asking for donations or selling their stuff?

I have nothing against donating, or asking for donations, some people really need it. But is also reads like advertising. Puts me off...

Sometimes I just want a message to exist on different instances, I don't want to boost it up again, and/or push it into my timeline.

There's a trick for that. If you copy paste the direct link to a post into your search-box, that instance imports it and it exists there on the federated timeline and will appear in searches.

You can find the direct link by right-clicking the post-date of a post and selecting 'copy link location'.

What I like about the 'new generation' is what I like about when people are young. You get people who are more driven, less inhibited by things not working out.

I wish people could retain that feeling of wanting to better the world, willing to fight for it. Part of that will need people not burning out though. Seen enough burned out cynical activists. They're poison.

So stay strong and take care!
