New features!

- You can now mark media as sensitive even without a content warning.
- For locked accounts, the number of unhandled follow requests will be shown on the "Community" nav link.
- Clicking the avatar on an account page will show a full-resolution view.

Bug fixes!

- Hashtag links are now correctly case-insensitive.
- You can now set a focal point on an animated GIF.
- When autocompleting, the cursor no longer jumps to the end.

#Pinafore users: do you use the "show large inline images and videos" setting?

This is a big release with lots of new improvements!

Features:

- Images/videos are now shown in a more condensed grid, thanks to some great work by @stevegenoud. If you prefer the old style, though, you can switch back in Settings -> General -> "Show large inline images and videos"

- Big perf improvements thanks to upgrading Sapper.

- Pinafore can now be hosted as a static site. Note that this is in beta though, and doesn't support CSP.

Since folks have asked, you can enable dark mode in Pinafore! The themes are under Settings -> Instances -> (instance name) -> Theme. Each instance you sign into can have its own theme!
