not only should you be captioning/describing your images
you should be requesting #MastoDev team improves upon it such as allowing us to see the whole image as we describe it, and a better visual indicator that the image isn’t described while uploading (maybe even an alert before posting!)
whatever you create and put out into the world has value. thank you for being vulnerable with us putting a little piece of your world out there to share.
i hope this week brings you comfort and confidence.
self care is Literally taking care of your self. it’s about doing what is good/healthy for you, even if it sucks and is hard to do
how capitalism turned it exclusively into buying things is not surprising at all but that’s Not what it is (although sometimes they can overlap as doing fun things is part of taking care of yourself)
self care is never selfish if it’s what you need at the moment.
makes it easier to read for everyone, but especially so for folks with screen readers. if each work isn’t capitalized, their reader tries to read it as one word
be kind and willing to make small changes to make the fediverse more accessible for all
ginny is a very great human, & also a very great resource given her expertise regarding online harassment and nazis. she’s active in creating a better world that cares for those who are in need.
someone buy a mall with me so we can turn it into this amazing commit resource center with counseling, career counseling, shelter for homeless/houseless people, legal aid, etc etc etc
maybe even a community garden in the vast amount of parking spaces
anger towards oppressors / those in an oppressing class is... valid and good actually.
maybe take a breathe and be more understanding of your social privileges and how you benefit from things or even contribute to harm of others instead of trying to tell vulnerable people to calm down
not only for free information, but especially for at risk populations and homeless populations
they offer free or very cheap internet access (which allows for finding resoucres, job applications, etc), free access to information, bathrooms, often places have refreshments for relatively cheap as well, etc. etc.

i really like the use of positive (+), negative (-), and neutral (~) in the CW as i find it to be much more helpful and pretty specific even for only symbols
for example, talking about mental health could be -talking about triggering stuff -talking abut progress -talking about something you've learned about yourself
and any of those could trigger people, depending on the exact content. so using + - or ~ in your CW is really good for a variety of topics and i appreciate it.
