Time for another status update on #rbadev : Past weekend I used most of my time to setup my x200. Its still not liberated but now at least everything I need to do productive work on it is in place. 😀 Because of this my changes on #rba are mostly a few bugfixes this time. Futhermore I started working on a new quest. I hope I'll be ready to push it somewhen this week. The quest will be about a bannished orc who asks for some special food items in order to survive. #gamedev#foss#freegaming

What a good day! I just pushed a commit to RogueBox Adventres that adds a new quest. The player has to bring back the tools an elfish worker has lost inside the sewer.

@PhilippeLhardy This makes sence. I don't wanted to say that this is a bad thing. I just was wondering. I hope there will be more content in other languages in the future because this is an important point to increase the userbase. I'll keep an eye on this project.
If I want to flash #libreboot I will need a special clip to connect the bios chip of the laptop to the GPIOs of a Raspberry Pi or BeagleBone Black. Until now I have not found someone who sells this clips here in germany for an acceptable price. 😐
Looks like I have 3 options:
-running a libre os but life with the unfree uefi and use a wifi stick
-install a not 100% libre GNU/Linux
-find someone who can help me with flashing libreboot
I opened up a new issue on RogueBox Adventures gitlab page where I explain what BGM/SFX is still missing for the next release. Everybody is free to join the discussion.
Past weekend I played a bit with my Tinkpad x200 and Trisquel GNU/Linux. Trisquel looks and feels much better then I expected! The only thing that sucks is that it dosn't supports the laptops build in wifi chip. I can't replace this chip unless I flash #libreboot because the Lenovo bios would reject to boot otherwise. Liberating this thing is harder then I thought it would be.
