I think the thing that really makes this picture is the one raised eyebrow. That's the part I've been repeatedly losing my shit at. That leery stoned "come hither" look.

Internet culture as such a weird combination of "everything is flawlessly recorded forever" and "you just had to be there". Everything is simultaneously permanent and ephemeral. We're drowning in records that have no context, and context that has no records

1980-2000: "we should start a band"
2000-2010: "we should start a podcast"
2010-2020: "we should start a twitch stream"
2020-2030: "we should start an ASMR channel"

I love biology majors so much just because there's nothing more pure or wholesome in this world than seeing someone enthusiastically talk about plants
