Hi guys, us again.

Due to a little fuckup last night (guess we got too excited) we DDosed our mailserver by sending announcement to all the users in a stupid way.

You might and probably do experience some delay on your mailbox. This should clear out in an hour or so.

Due to the last minute issue spotted last night we had to abort the operation.
That is why we are going to do it tonight. Between 23:00 - 2:00 UTC you might experience some disruption on our platform (eg. your email account might be unavailable for short period of time, you won't be able to create an account etc).

Tonight we are planning on implementing quite few changes to the internal structure, therefor some of the services will be unavailable for short periods of time between 1:00 UTC - 3:00 UTC

Due to security issue, autologin to webmail has been disabled. This means you need to provide your password twice (when logging in to the cloud and when entering webmail). We apologize for inconvenience and we hope the issue will be resolved soon.

We had to put some restrictions on our mail service, due to spam activity, where people used #disroot accounts to send spam. Those restrictions (still fine-tuning so more info will follow) apply to bulk email sending in short periods of time.
We've conducted an investigation in the last days to find and block the spammers, and whitelist people sending legit bulk emails.
As a part of our transparency policy, we have also informed those legit users that we've been reviewing their activity.

Due to number of bugs and very small interest in the webchat app in the #nextcloud, We’ve made the decision to switch it off. If you are one of the few people using xmpp via web we advice you to use one of the native applications for your system. We are not disabling #xmpp server!
