im trying to find a GOOD way to store a hierarchical tree structure in some sort of queryable database and every solution has made me sad

pretty sure it uses inotify for watching + an hourly full scan by default - maybe it's having issues trying to watch for changes? does the syncthing UI say that your other device is out of date?

oh i forgot to post about my new phone like a week ago lmao

my xiaomi mi 8 arrived last monday and i'm fairly happy with it. xiaomi put some ads in system apps though, and verifying your phone number with mi cloud requires sending an international text. don't really use the system apps though, and I'm planning on installing a custom rom.

also there was a bug with the notch dimming after opening an app that dims it or any landscape app which was annoying so I hid the notch.

good overall though

i woke up this morning, got an iced coffee out of the fridge, took it to my computer desk and shook it...
