I scored an old oscilloscope today. It's from 1982 and made in Victoria by a company called BWD. It's in pretty good nick, though the screen seems to flicker a bit when turning various knobs. I found a service and repair manual for it too. Apparently these are easy to repair. I can get three more if I want too. Now to make a function generator. Maybe I'll use that Arduino kit I've had for ages. I found a thing on the internet using a Arduino nano.
It's so distressing. Our current national shame. I say put Dutton on an island. It may not fix any of the suffering he and his ilk have caused... But at least he would be elsewhere. Makes me so angry.
I'm wanting to get a low powered computer for running #openbsd. I want to use it for self education, learning programming, network security and running a server. I would prefer completely open hardware running something like coreboot. I am looking at the apu2 from pcengines but I don't really have the bank for that setup. Does anyone have any recommendations for something I could set up (considering I'm broke AF). I would greatly appreciate any advice.
