As a tryout, I've enabled comments on my blog, using Isso ( https://posativ.org/isso/ ). It does need some additional configuration and styling.

Isso seems to be an outcome for those wishing Disqus-like functionality - but aren't comfortable with the privacy invasion.

Hence, no matter how good the effort of services like disroot are - I won't trust them solely because their entire platform runs on Linux.

Merely complaining isn't productive. Hence I started #h3b, to offer hosted, privacy friendly alternatives for propietary services, on OpenBSD. #Koekel is the first one, a Searx instance: https://h3b.nl/koekel
