5-6 months I had a filling out in. Ever since my gums surrounding those teeth will periodically by so sore and inflamed I can’t vhew on that side. I know I should go back but it wasn’t a great experience last time so I’m having a hard time convincing myself to trust. FYI I like my dentist, I just have a small jaw so makes it difficult to do dental work.

Recently she tried her hand and deceit.
Ezra (to Daddy in the backseat of the car with her): daddy, hamburgers?
Daddy: uh ask your mom
Ezra (to mommy in the front seat): mommy, hamburgers?
Mommy: um ... maybe
Ezra (to daddy): daddy! Mommy said hamburgers!

But I kept plugging away. My baby was having fun, we were bonding, and she is an excellent learner. In less than 6 weeks she’ll be 2 yrs old and now we have a more structured homeschool-like lesson plan in place. I still get the negative feedback from time to time but results speak for themselves. Ezra loves her activities and she is thriving! I’ve stopped worrying about what other people think about my approach to education ❤️

When my daughter was 6-7 months old I started doing learning activities with her. I was surprised at the negative reaction I received from other moms, but also from people (mostly women) in my mom’s peer group.

@ink_slinger I think I’d feel similarly. For me I think a deadline, rather than hierarchical financial motivation, would be more beneficial.

It still catches me off guard to hear Ezra speak in full sentences and carry on conversations with me. I can’t believe she’s nearly 2.

In 31.5 hrs @thurloat will be back in Nova Scotia. The count down is on.

How many times a day can one person really say ‘gentle hands’ and not be talking about anything sexual but still be talking about consent issues? Too many. That’s the answer.

I have to get back on track. I have to. My mental health can't take too much more of this non-structured living. Feels too close to laziness. Don't get me wrong, I've. Wen living the summer lifestyle but I'm ready for a change. I sure am glad September is just around the corner; fall always makes me fall into a routine.
