Optimistic points of view are definitely useful and bring a breath of fresh air.

However, it should not hide the realistic views. Here is a french publication from the "Observatoire des Inégalités" : https://www.inegalites.fr/

In a nutshell : maybe extrem poverty rate is decreasing, but :
- global population is increasing
- what about "casual" poverty ?

etc.

And really, I try hard, but I can't say things are getting better... I only agree on this : "Don't give up" !
