This argument usually consists of an effort-post concerning how democrats actually treat minorities like pets or tokens while the right-wing truly respects them as individuals, often showing that respect via tough love and actually equal treatment (not "affirmative-action" treatment, for example).

To say that Dems are alone, or first, in advocating for guns being used to perforate human bodies is fallacious.
