    In 2014, I think I was just completing my transition to free software (gnu/Linux with Shotwell, Gimp, emacs, Inkscape...). I played with Fotowall for a while. I ended up not using the Fotowall collage application and moving to ImageMagick in emacs's *shell*.. Maybe I should try Fotowall again, but lately I just take the most interesting rectangle out of a big photo, or montage a few pictures together to suggest a story or show different views of a place. I had a chance to visit Toroku in January this year. It feels important to see the same place in different seasons, at different times of the day.

    @hannes Dvs om gränser borde bort, hur försvarar en då Sápmi, särskilt om grundretoriken är att en "riktig" same har genetiska blodsband med andra samer.

    Tydligen får en dock vara medlem i en sameby utan att vara blodssame. Antar att en behöver anamma kulturen m.m. då dock. Frågade inte tillräckligt mycket och jobbigt för att lära mig alla detaljer.

    @hannes Jag pratade lite häromdagen med en som är mycket bättre än mig på samers liv och kultur och samtidigt tydlig antifascist och antirasist, så den hatar förstås Sverigedemokraterna. Som djävulens advokat påtalade jag att SD ändå är lite mesiga jämfört med den rasbiologi som samerna använder för att kontrollera vilka som räknas till dem etc.

    Jag följde aldrig riktigt upp på det du skrev nu, eftersom jag tyvärr behövde jobba, men jag tycker det vore intressant att höra resonemanget (om det inte bara är tråkig pragmatism) hur en försvarar att Sápmi borde få ha undantag från ordinarie nationstater.

    @ilpianista Lussebullar generally don't taste cinnamon. The "real" ones use saffron, fake ones tend to put a bunch of "turmeric" (gurkmeja) in because saffron is so expensive.

    ACC.umu.se is looking for fun project to host to beef up their bandwidth usage. Currently major mirrors of Debian, Firefox, Ubuntu, GNOME, and a number of other major FLOSS projects. They currently fill their 20G pipe only rarely, so they'd like some more, in order to argue for a 100G pipe eventually :)
