I've had a lot of coffee this morning. If I have some time today that's unusable for working on a paper, I'll cram out a video discussing my idea on the role of benefits that users of social networks derive from social networks, and how those benefits relate to costs the network operators force the users to bear (costs are much-discussed, but benefits are considered less so, let alone cost–benefit analyses). #ideas #personal #economics

I'm up early to study for an exam and maybe work on a paper, if I have time. I'm nearly done with this exam storm! 😊

The irony in my phrasing this in this way is that this was likely a major blessing bestowed upon me

I did better on that exam I was sweating than I hoped for, but my score's still god-awful

My issue with roller backpacks was that the wheels wore out quite fast, so I wanted to use some setup that lets me keep whatever bag and just swap out wheels as needed and use big, quality wheels from the outset.

I just saw another student with my weird roller backpack setup (backpack seated on a dolly)!! 😗🤓

@zordon I figured out both the solution and the issue that I was running into before, and it's so bonehead/stupid that 👿

Turns out: there's the beautiful little "charging" light when the device is connected by USB. But that isn't necessarily an indication that the USB cord is sufficiently secured to the USB cord to warrant connecting to my laptop. I have to apply additional pressure to it to connect to my laptop. 😂 I'm so annoyed and relieved.

@kai Low price, has a general Android system underneath it for running apps, and I had a solid experience with my previous one (it was literally one of my favorite devices ever). 😅
