@mrmcmayhem who would he have to show this documentation to? just curious, because i can't think of who that would be. He is a contractor to the hospital working for his own company. What do you need to file income taxes, just an ITIN? I would imagine business filings are under the business name, so no immigration status there. I don't disagree with your thought, but I am just not seeing HR (or any other) collaboration here.

@mrmcmayhem @Johnny_of_the_swamp I don't know if I'd call it an HR issue. I am only close enough to one doctor to understand his financial/business situation. His entire "company" is him, another doctor (who is also his business partner) and a billing person. They have contracts with two hospitals. They are both citizens (but not white if that makes a difference?) but I don't know if anyone actually checked their status when they made their contract with the hospitals. But I shall ask!
