I'm interested in the 50K ft view of things more than most seem to be. I'm fascinated by the psychology of those who want to control others, i.e. #Authoritarians.
Seems they have a desperation to surrender their autonomy and agency as though it's the most dangerous thing they can imagine. Please, take my responsibility, my choice, my individual #liberty. Like slaves who yern for their chains.
Why? Do they not trust themselves? Are they afraid of what they may do if set free?
