I was raised on an HP calculator, and they have "scientific notation" and "engineer notation", where e.g. 123400000000 in scientific notation would be 1.234*10¹¹, but in engineer notation it would be 123.4*10⁹, so that it maps neatly to an SI prefix. I like that!

People say people on Fedi only talk about Fedi. I don't think that's entirely fair.

But it's not entirely unfair. If you search for phanpy on the web, it's a pokemon. If you search for it on fedi, it's a fedi client. 😅
