Just watched my first #Peertube video with #Newpipe !!!

I'm super excited that Peertube's supported now, because people downloading the app because they want a YouTube app will now be presented with an alternative video sharing platform. It's like a reverse Trojan horse, like if the horse opened to reveal a bunch of anarchists who came out and played some music and fed everybody a meal, instead of all the fighting.

Fracking has been banned across the UK with immediate effect!

The one active site here was closed in the summer due to the earthquakes it was causing, but other sites were being explored.

This is a victory for protestors!

Australia's strike!!! I mean look at it!

Solarpunk energy storage that changes this fluid's molecular makeup slightly when subjected to the sun's rays. The energy can then be stored for almost *TWO DECADES* before being put through a catalyst to convert the energy into heat (63°C temperature rise), and the fluid is reusable more than 125 times! I feel like there could be a lot of very interesting uses for this, if given some thought...

This is a test to see if you can tell neural network faces from real ones. Because yep, we can now generate faces with computers that look so realistic people can get it wrong. This has implications for trials (false evidence indistinguishable from real images) and I find, overall, pretty worrying.
