"The sleep researcher from Northwestern University in Chicago, said: "Night owls trying to live in a morning lark world may have health consequences for their bodies."

Night owls occur naturally, capitalism does not. Fuck schedules, fuck 9-5, fuck the "one size fits all" mentality of this sociopathic system!

    Instance governance for w.t emigrés:

Committees and shit are boring as hell but it means that one person can burn out and the site keeps going. That's why I joined social.coop. I highly recommend looking for instances that give the users a measure of control or at least a way to get involved.

The whole witches-town debacle ought to be a lesson in the social dynamics of the fediverse - you can't let a community of hundreds or thousands rely on the largesse of a single individual. If they control the domain, server, database... They can withdraw access to those things at any time. Approaches like social.coop are potentially more sustainable, provided as ever that they don't rely on any single people, especially for the domain.

Does anyone know, is it possible to start a text only chat (one-to-one AND group chat) in #Nextcloud #Talk without camera and microphone?

I mean, it's an elementary mistake to require camera and microphone for something you don't ever need a camera or a microphone.

But somehow I'm not able to get it working, and it's hard to believe that this bullshit is intentional.
