Je prédis que demain matin on va ramasser des pelletés d'individus les 6 fers en l'air.

Occupation du dimanche soir, jouer à xroach(1) à l'entrée de l'appartement.

La semaine dernière on avait fais un score assez raisonnable, genre ~25 individus.

Cette semaine, on a fait plus fort: on en a tué quelques uns, j'ai mis de l'#icon10cs (un insecticide typiquement utilisé contre les moustiques en Afrique) un peu partout, et après ça a été une super partie de « tongs contre cafards ».

Les tongs ont gagnées, et de loin…

No Stash a aussi de manière générale des bon bouquins, y'a une ou deux exceptions à mon goût (Wicked cool shell scripts (pour ne pas le nommer); un autre dans le même genre avec des snippets de Ruby). Niveau contenu, ces livres ne sont pas inintéressant, c'est juste le format que je trouve inadapté. Ils ont des bouquins d'architecture qui roxent…

@yogthos JVisualVM has not be really helpful in my case: annoying process is on a remote machine, and my internet connection is crap-powered (like I got a new IP address at least 10 times a day).

However, I have been directed to jmap(1) / jhat(1) and a bunch of other command-line tools whose man page says "This command is experimental and unsupported."

It helped confirm that what I found previously was what was actually in RAM.

And I might have found the cause. I'll follow-up when I am sure!
