FWIW, eventually we'll be migrating away so if there is an ugly hack to make this backward compatible, it won't have to live forever.

@Supernova apparently the task queue has about 4000 jobs to go through to catch up, might take a little bit.

@Supernova yea I started getting worried when the normal spammers weren't showing up for me.

@Supernova looks like there was actually an issue with the background task queue, you might have some delayed home screen stuff.
