when you, an artist, dismiss or complain about the quality of your own art, while presenting it to people for them to view, you are not just putting yourself down

you are putting down the work of everyone who is less skilled than you

complain about your WIPs being hard all you want, complain about your junked drawings, whatever

but if you're putting your art out there for people to see? don't. don't say things about your public work you wouldn't say to other people about theirs.

pro tip to artists: don't talk down your art.

best case scenario is people think you think poorly of your work

worst case scenario is people who aren't as good as you yet see this amazing thing you drew that is better than they could ever accomplish and you are calling it bad and they feel like everything they've worked for is pointless because their best is so far below your "bad" art so why should they even keep trying when their work is so clearly garbage

@noelle nah, I rearranged the code so that it did things in a different order to make things work better and I just missed some of the necessary changes, I think

i kind of like it when things are broken, it gives me a nice concrete task to work on
