okay admittedly I haven't seen the one with the pterodactyls yet but at least that one sounds like it has some High Camp Charm to it

no, this one starred, believe it or not, Christopher Lee as Sherlock Holmes, and Patrick Macnee (from the old BBC secret agent series The Avengers) as Watson, which is some brilliant casting, but my GOD

we watched the first disc of the two-disc movie and were like "no more. NO MORE"

@wigglytuffitout Christopher Plummer is a surprisingly good Holmes and that movie got me thinking about the comparative ages of Holmes and Watson and I was like by jove actually they're right Watson would totally have to be substantially older than Holmes and that actually makes perfect sense

It stars Christopher Plummer as Holmes which is a casting that I fully admit made me go ???? really???? when I saw it but then I watched the movie and it is MY FAVORITE. The Holmes and Watson dynamic is THE BEST.

I don't actually have the faintest clue how it does on the feminism angle I am too much of a Gay Lithro Boy lol
