What I don't see accounted for in some #degrowth scenarios is how one copes as an isolated high tech wage laborer who can't simply make their own clothes or grow a garden without a lot of help. A lot of us are #deskilled in this way. I could sew years ago; no more, not without in-person mentoring.
After decades of forced specialization of skills in a #capitalist economy, not to mention #disabilities, I'm lucky I can make my own dinner.
