@skypage I've had durian candy before and it reminded me of Walla Walla sweet onions. So I happily munched on it to the horror of the other westerners I was with.

As a data point for @Johncdvorak and @adam, I have been using Apple iCloud as my primary email address for years (yes I know, I'm looking at alternatives but having the same email for over a decade makes it a pain to change). Every NA newsletter recently comes through just fine. Have never had a problem. Apple seems to have not deplatformed your newsletter yet.

@lantrix Nothing. In fact I'm staying with a 5.1 system since my room is so small. Just my system is almost 20 years old, cheap, and crappy. But my room is echoey and laid out in ways I can't change easily (fireplace, hallway, and door locations). And I can't find speakers that I think will work well and are small enough to place where needed. Just an overall frustration with the whole project.

Israel has been in a constant state of war since I've been alive. At this point I'm going all-in on the Hummus thesis because nothing else makes any goddamn sense to me.

So far I am finding in my research that Sonos is out for me due to limited product line, Yamaha seems to be the winner for value, Denon has a battery-powered speaker that is compatible unlike others, and Bose is just Bose, overpriced.

I know Sonos is the big player in the wireless speaker arena, but it is quite limited and doesn't seem to have the addition of home theater components that I want like Yamaha or Denon, Bose, etc.

Denon Heos wireless multi-room speaker system. Better or worse than Yamaha MusicCast? I know the Denon stuff is more expensive but their brand reputation is certainly there.

Now that I’m free of student debt, why am I not a filthy rich millennial yet?
