    So much mid-2000s vampire media was based on systemizing vampires. Underworld and Blade as series spend so little time on their stories, and more thinking about the interactions of their mythology and the science of it. This was the heyday of my Vampire LARPing so I didn't notice at the time, but I am really intrigued by it in retrospect.
