@renich Obviously, that someone uses Mastodon does not mean they are for anarchy, or okay with allowing bigoted hatred and harassment. A large reason for this platform's existence is to prevent the spread of such trash.

I can see through your use of "free speech" as cover for hate.

Everyone has the obligation to oppose #bigotry, hatred, violence, and harassment. No one is entitled to harass or cause harm to others.

Your comment of "dual morals" makes no sense.

On this day in 1989, the Chinese government murdered up to 10,000 peaceful protestors.

Since then, the government has brutally subdued and silenced any mention of this horrific historical event. Representatives of other countries have been complicit in that cover-up.

Let us never forget the Tiananmen Square massacre, these activists, their courage, or their sacrifices.

@infosechandbook This is a good reminder about network-level ad and tracker blocking.

Nevertheless, everyone should still delete #Chrome, and do their best to also block this junk with browser plug-ins and other methods..

Regarding recent discussions about ad blocking in web browsers:

Tech-savvy people can use network-level ad blocking like "adblock" for OpenWrt/Turris Omnia, or the dedicated Pi-hole project.

Centralized network-level ad blocking is easier to manage and independent from web browsers or any other app that uses the internet.
