@denmch It's chicken-and-egg, yeah. Myself, I have gotten used to the lower volume of content on Mastodon compared to Twitter, and I actually find it kind of soothing. I use Mastodon less than I used to use Twitter.

I feel like one of Twitter's main problems is that it's just too big. Ironically, this is also why people flock to it.

I always thought https://github.com/pouchdb-community/pouchdb-replication-stream could work over arbitrary data channels including WebRTC, but don't believe I've seen an example of it.

@ElfLord I saw a tweet from @isaacs describing Mastodon as "fun" and "like Twitter circa 2009." I spent a whole weekend messing around on Mastodon making silly jokes and got hooked ever since. :)
