A restaurant asked for a feedback from me and I among the usual personal details (name, phone no, email), they asked my date of birth and outrageously my marriage date! :-o I wrote 'why do you need this?' in the two spaces and then I wrote 'Do not ask for personal details, ask for an anonymous feedback instead'. (I did give them positive ratings as the food was good). #privacy
I was slower than average in my cycling trip. I used mid speed gears much more frequently than the high gears. Perhaps its the result of some decline in physical fitness (haven't been exercising regularly of late). During the first half of the trip, I grew gradually exhausted, but after a 45 min stop at a restaurant, I felt better and in the end didn't feel too exhausted.
UIDAI now launches face recognition technology, which they say will help elderly people who are denied pensions and rations due to non-working fingerprints. But the real problem for them is that most of them are weak and unable to go to shop. Earlier, with ration cards, they can get their due by giving their ration cards to neighbours. #DestroyTheAadhaar https://twitter.com/ETNOWlive/status/952893028808585216
Washing clothes, then doing a 70k cycling trip which included mapping for openstreet map and then following it up with uploading data ane editing maps! A good day! #openstreetmaps #cycling !cycling
Govt is going to issue new orange coloured passports, which will no longer have your address and hence will no longer be used as an address proof. Looks like yet another alternate ID being destroyed for Aadhaar. #DestroyTheAadhaar before it destroys everything else!

solariiknight(ஆனந்த்)The German researchers say their WhatsApp attack takes advantage of a simple bug. Only an administrator of a WhatsApp group can invite new members, but WhatsApp doesn't use any authentication mechanism for that invitation that its own servers can't spoof. So the server can simply add a new member to a group with no interaction on the part of the administrator, and the phone of every participant in the group then automatically shares secret keys with that new member, giving him or her full access to any future messages. (Messages sent prior to an illicit invitation, fortunately, still can't be decrypted.) https://www.wired.com/story/whatsapp-security-flaws-encryption-group-chats/
