I was not in the office tonight at the barn. The band brought their own sound system and apparently wanted to run it themselves. It seems like a gigantic waste of time and energy to bring an inferior sound system into a venue when the venue already has a great one, but hey, what do I know?

My brother is at the SEMA (car) show in Vegas. He just posted a pic with Mario Andretti. I asked him how he even heard of Mario considering Mario drove cars that made right turns, too (my bro is a big NASCAR fan).

I'm a little bit excited. I got my really tall mic stand in today and a stereo bar, so now I can take my matching condensers in an X/Y and do some chamber music recording. I gotta get a 50ft fan to fan snake now.

Was not able to be home to give candy out to the kids today. I always look forward to a cool costume or two.
