    Morning world. I am confused about my allegiance to nation states today.

    On the one hand, too much power is wielded by too few. On the other, massive power is the only chance we have against global warming. The two go hand in hand.

    Standard way to wield power is to work out where you can hit someone so it hurts. For BoJo, it's not clear what the weak spot is - he has support from ultra-conservatives and global powers. He doesn't seem to care about the Tory party being divided.

    Perhaps his reputation in history is the thing to aim for?

    Yeah, makes it easier from their side. From mine, I think I may try to use the forums and community OSes more over time. It's a shame there's not much around community hardware for FP2, eg custom cases that use the power outputs.

    Thanks - it's impressive just how much hardware is tied to a) software and b) other hardware these days. Android updates seem to build 3-year obsolecence into devices, for instance.

    Democracy is the rules of the game. If you only play by the rules when you want, then the game stops, and everyone pisses off back home. There's no country left to save under Brexit if democracy is buggered.

    It's not a surprise, but it's still depressing. The greed I've seen in society for the last 40 years has led to people putting individualism over the country as a whole, at all levels - left, right, top, bottom.

    The only 2 things that are useful are stats reporting and adding extra standard code to each post - I'd like some options to contact me, as RSS is pretty bad for commenting, I think. I could drop the first. Something self-hosted would be fine.
