GameMode 1.4 for Linux from Feral Interactive.

Features aimed at the performance conscious Linux gamer to make every frame count.

GameMode is integrated into some Linux game ports by Feral Interactive including DiRT 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Total War: WARHAMMER II, Total War: Three Kingdoms and Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia.

If gaming can be "serious", well, this tool aids those who experience it quite so.

PipeWire: for more linear audio / video handling on Linux.

Red Hat led open-source project aiming to be the central source for managing audio and video streams on Linux.

Ultimately PipeWire wants to serve as a replacement for the likes of PulseAudio and JACK while having similar aspirations for video.

Now: Wayland's Weston lands a Pipewire plug-in as a new remote desktop streaming. KDE and GNOME already implemented.

Fresh graphical user interface (GUI) goodness for Linux: xinput-GUI.

Xinput is a utility to configure and test X input devices, such as mouses, keyboards, and touchpads. So, here's a simple GUI for Xorg's (a traditional Linux display server) Xinput tool.

Little GUI apps like this go a long way in making things more accessible for everybody. A huge salutation to the app developer IvanFon!
